Widest throat and shortest flange distance of the current full-frame mirrorless mounts, which is why almost any SLR lens adapts onto it. Nikon began licensing third parties from 2023; Sigma and Tamron now ship native autofocus Z lenses.

Putting Nikon Z lenses on other bodies
Nikon Z lenses cannot usefully be adapted onto another mount. The mount is electronically controlled and its lenses have no aperture ring, so on a body that cannot speak to them they would sit stuck at a single aperture.
