Discontinued in favour of RF. Only eight Canon lenses were ever made for it. Buying into EF-M now means buying into a dead system, which is worth saying plainly.

Putting Canon EF-M lenses on other bodies
Canon EF-M lenses cannot usefully be adapted onto another mount. The mount is electronically controlled and its lenses have no aperture ring, so on a body that cannot speak to them they would sit stuck at a single aperture.
