Canon EF lenses on L-Mount
Does a Canon EF lens fit a L-Mount body?
Yes, with a simple adapter and no loss of image quality. Canon EF has a flange focal distance of 44.0 mm and L-Mount has 20.0 mm, leaving 24.0 mm for the adapter to occupy. Because the adapter contains no glass, the lens performs exactly as it does on its native mount.
Autofocus: Single-shot autofocus only
Single autofocus only. There is no continuous AF and no eye detection, which rules it out for moving subjects. Sigma is explicit about this limitation rather than hiding it, and it has not changed since launch.
